Disaster Preparedness Workshops
Educating foreign residents on emergency response, evacuation procedures, and risk reduction strategies.
Japan is one of the most disaster-prone countries globally, facing frequent earthquakes, typhoons, and other natural hazards. With climate change intensifying these events, it's crucial for all residents, including foreign nationals, to be prepared. However, language barriers and unfamiliarity with local systems can make disaster preparedness challenging for non-Japanese speakers. ReadyJapan is an initiative by REarth aimed at bridging this gap. We provide accessible disaster preparedness information and conduct workshops in English, tailored to the needs of foreign residents in Japan.
